Freemore Video to GIF Converter is useful to convert your video files into lighter GIF animations. They are much more suitable for Internet use, as part of blogs or e-mail signatures, for example. The program can convert practically all known video formats and accepts not only video but also audio and image files, even though there is no way you can convert an audio file into a GIF animation!

The program's user interface is simple and intuitive, though it may become boring and monotonous after a while. Basically, it allows you to select your source file and configure the output options before starting the conversion process. The configuration of the output options, in turn, is done in a separate window. There you can select your desired GIF resolution from a list of standard values, ranging from 128x96 to 1920x1080 pixels. However, you can also select "Auto - Original" to preserve the resolution of the source file. Besides, in the same window, you can define start and end points to convert just a portion of your video. Unfortunately, the program does not allow you to play back your video file for checking.

Once the configuration is ready, you can press the "Start" button in the main window to begin the conversion process. It is a relatively fast process, and it generates log information that is displayed in a special panel. Moreover, you can optionally watch a preview of the GIF animation while the conversion is in progress.

To sum up, Freemore Video to GIF Converter allows you to convert a single video file – or a portion of it – into a GIF animation, quickly, easily, and free of charge.
